Dr. Ted David Friehling, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Friehling from 2010 in Fairfax, Va until he left for WV in 2016/17. I had two ablations for AFIB (2010-RF and 2012-Cryo). Since the 2012 Cryo ablation I have not experienced any episodes of irregular heart beat or arrhythmia. I saw him twice a year for that entire time and was given excellent care. He always answered all of my questions and closely monitored any changes in electrophysiology. I was very sad when he had to leave VA. I live in the West now and miss that great standard of care but remain heart healthy.

I have nothing but praise Dr. Friehling. I am a procedural RN in the cath lab in another city. I am so impressed with his knowledge and would highly recommend him to anyone.

He is literally a rock star. Brilliant and yet has a good bedside manner. Highly recommended.

The office staff (including nurses) are abrasive and make us feel we have inconvenienced the practice by calling for advice and/or scheduling an appointment. It is unfortunate because the physicians have been compassionate. We feel no choice but to seek out another practice.

Excellent physician. Efficient and knowledgeable. Solved my atrial fibrillation (on the third try) with pulmonary vein ablation after several medications failed to control it. Office staff can be a bit harsh and communication is lacking, but second to none for expertise in the field of arrythmia.
