Dr. Ted W Parcel, DO

I broke my hand during an episode of vertigo. I did not know at the time Dr. Parcel, was a hip and knee specialist. He did the surgery on my hand, putting 1 plate and 4 screws in it, I go back 3 weeks later, they remove the cast, he asks me to close my hand. Shocking...my pinky and ring fingers scissor towards my middle and index fingers. His statement was...”well that’s not good”. Many things transpired from that point to me going to a hand specialist that had too re-break my hand, putting 2 perforated plates and 8 screws in it. It then caused a problem with my thumb from being cast so long and I had to have a compartment extensor release done to it. All of this within 6 months time. I now have so much osteoporosis in this hand, I can’t hold or pick up anything that is small. Larger things, I lose my grip quickly. Life has now changed for me because he’s not a hand surgeon. An orthopedist is not an orthopedist, they have specialties and his is not hands!
