Dr. Theodore Raymond Stefani, MD

Looking at the bad reviews, it looks like the medication complaints are due to controlled medication. I was looking for a provider that minimizes prescribing opioids and other addictive medication. If you want a “candy man” that will just give you your dope, find a different provider! It’s refreshing to have a provider that isn’t reinforcing the opioid epidemic

If you like a doctor from the 1950's, Stefani is your man. He's unwilling to treat his patients as equals when discussing the dosage of medications that directly affect their well being. It's basically "I'm the doctor, you've had the blood test, here's your prescription." Don't ask for an intellectual back and forth on the matter. You won't get it.

During my visit he didn't address the problem I went in for and simply practiced cookbook medicine. He worked his way through flu shots, cholesterol tests, other blood work.....while dismissing my statement of having a bad reaction to statins.

I am over 70 and have seen a lot of doctors over the years. I have never seen one that grasped by problems as quickly and accurately. I really feel lucky to have found Dr. Stefani.

While I was attending a separate hospital, my medication was adjusted in dosage without receiving a new prescription. I ended up running out and asked Dr. Stefani to refill them. Instead of refilling them to the dosage that the hospital left me at, he halved the dosage and expects me to make do, claiming that he won't increase the dosage and all but calling me a drug seeker.
