Dr. Ted C Weesner

Ted Weesner, DDS, MS is a board certified Periodontist. He has advanced training and knowledge in the field of treatment of gum disease, dental implant therapy, diagnosis of oral disease and the impact of oral disease on full body health.  He earned his Doctorate of Dentistry from the University Of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1992.  He joined the Navy and completed a one year in-hospital residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.  He spent the next 11 years in the Navy as general dentist then as a periodontist.  He completed his Periodontal Post Doctoral Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2000 and earned his Master’s Degree in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. He received the American Academy of Peridontology R. Earl Robinson award for outstanding published research in bone regeneration. He received board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2005. He is a past …president of the Oregon Society of Periodontists.
