In and out in less than an hour, answers ALL my questions (1st time mom so I have a lot), very kind to my little one and the nurses are very gentle when giving shots!! I also get a call from a REAL PERSON to remind me the day before an appointment!!!

Dr. Hughes is wonderful!!! The staff that she has working for her are VERY RUDE!!!!!! But that is only for Dr. Hughes ! The staff would definately be rated a ZERO!!!!!

What can I say, my 6 year old son loves her. He saw her for the first time today and on the way home he said: "I want her to be my doctor forever".

I have taken my children (now 9 and 6) to Dr. Hughes since 2002. She never seems rushed and will listen to your concerns carefully. I have never had issues with rudeness or wait time, though I do try to get the first appointment in the morning. One thing that is lacking is that though she does a good job calming a frantic mother, she could be a little under-concerned at times. It took 3 visits to her office before my son (then 5)ended up being hospitalized for pneumonia. Overall she is caring, and competent, but perhaps could be a little more aggressive.

The office staff should really call ahead to confirm appointments but don't. (Guess that's how they get you to pay the cancelation fee's)

My 4-yr old son, Jordan, has been going to see Dr. Hughes since he was born at University - Fletcher. We have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for our appointment. The staff is mostly courteous, especially Vanessa, I think is her name -- she is the main assistant. Jordan even likes her. Dr. Hughes is always patient with Jordan and is very gentle. My son says he loves to go to the "lady doctor."
