I started seeing this "doctor" for a second opinion and to help me. Instead she changes none of the medications I was currently taking that I told her weren't helping. At our telehealth visit today she suggest getting a therapy light to shine on my face. I asked her what can I do to get help right now. She gets really offended and has a attitude at every visit I had with her and I said maybe I should find a new psychiatrist because I don't feel like you are helping me. She proceeds to say good bye and hangs up on me.

Suffice it to say that I was given conflicting requirements for my Xanax prescription. One month, THC in a urine drug screen is okay, the next month it's the end of the earth—I actually got fired as a patient. As a provider myself, I have never seen such disorganization, communication mishaps, unethical practices, and lack of knowledge. I was unable to message her myself—everything (by phone or email) was relayed through a secretary whom clearly had no experience in a medical office. There was unnecessary confusion, agitation, and accusations just because nobody had the common sense to solve problems, analyze data, or appreciate (read, consider, or analyze) Up-To-Date medical literature, which I electronically tried to provide her as a followup to our initial encounter when she was grossly misunderstood basic, undergraduate pharmacology. She acts like a therapist not a physician. If you're looking for a therapist, go see this third-world quality, Nigerian-trained "doctor." Even my… colleagues are astounded at how out-of-touch she, and somewhat her office staff, are with current standards of care, customer (patient) treatment, and professional consistency. If for some reason you have no other option than to see this person (my sympathies), use extreme caution in what personal, professional, and medical details you tell her. When she eventually charts your visit, all your details, doses, therapies, etc. I would honestly not trust her at all. After I was fired as a patient for having been prescribed opioids after a major surgery, and I saw her three days prior to surgery—she forgot that, called me an addict in need of rehab, accused me of "doctor shopping," among other egregious behavior as a patient.
