Dr. Tejk Naik, MD

I grew up in the Southern California suburb of Diamond Bar. I essentially received all my medical training in Southern California and never plan on leaving because I feel that this is the best part of the country to live and work in. Even as a young child growing up, I always wanted to go into medicine, for a variety of reasons. The biggest reason was always that I wanted to interact with people on a daily basis and hear their personal stories. I have always been a big storyteller myself, so I appreciate listening to the details of other people’s lives and like to use the information in those stories to help improve their health. I went into pulmonary and critical care medicine because I always found diseases of the lung to be the most interesting and challenging to treat. I also enjoy critical care medicine because, as a physician, I can have an immediate impact on a patient's life, which can be very rewarding and gratifying.
