Dr. Parikh is an orthopaedic doctor who is fellowship-trained in the spine and specializes in the back, neck, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He began practicing at Carolina Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in 2012.

After completing his bachelor's degree in economics, a minor in biochemistry, and graduating from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, he completed his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. Following his medical degree, Dr. Parikh completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Parikh also completed his fellowship in interventional spine, pain medicine, and musculoskeletal medicine at the Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in York, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Parikh is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

When he is not seeing patients, …Dr. Parikh enjoys basketball, running, traveling, tennis, spending time with his family, being fluent in Gujarati (Indian language), and being a member of the United States Tennis Association.

Dr. Parikh is an absolutely amazing physician who genuinely cares about his patients, their health, and their overall quality of life. Compared to previous experiences, Dr, Parikh rises above the rest. He actually takes the time to listen to you, examine your problem area(s), and understand your concerns, so that he’s able to create a treatment plan that works for you.

Dr. Parikh is a compassionate physician. He really listens to your problems and concerns so he can make the appropriate diagnosis. Then gives you options on your treatment.

I feel for the first time in years, I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. For someone who has suffered in pain from my hips, impacting my lower back and upper body, Dr. Parikh said he would be making a referral that I felt had long been needed. He listens, is friendly and makes you feel like you are important. I am ready to be back on the path of feeling better, as most of my years, I have felt hopeless in health care or getting my life back. Thank you Dr. Parikh for treating me, I am looking forward to the referral.

Dr Parikh and his team always have taken the time to listen to my concerns and provide me with options we could do to remedy my problems. I trust Dr Parikh and his team as well as Dr Prato and his team. I dont do this high of a rating on most of my posts, but I HIGHLY recommend Carolina Orthopedaic. The practice is always clean, the staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly, the doctors are excellent and everyone is very professional.

I’ve been going here for about 8 years with back issues Dr. Parikh has been awesome. He’s done everything to avoid surgery and has keep me functioning, 95% pain free and surgery free for all these years. I’d recommend him to anyone and have to many already.

Dr Parikh is the best and caring doctor. He really listens to my concerns. I would recommend him to anyone that has back problems he is above all others. His assistance schedulers and nurses are absolutely fantastic.
