Dr. Tejaswi R. Sastry is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Moses Cone Health Systems, affiliated with University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her fellowship in Hematology/ Oncology at the Eastern Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Sastry is a member of both the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

She is the best. Warm, caring and so helpful during a scary time in my life. Would not have made it through Chemo without all her help and support!

Dr. Sastry has excellent communication skills and spent a great of time explaining things to me. She wanted to be sure that I understood all of the information that she shared and asked if my support person and I had any questions. She was wonderful

The caring,concern and professional nature of all staff. The doctors are very concerned about your care and they make sure you understand everything. They make you feel very comfortable with the care they give.

The caring and concern shown by ALL staff members. I feel like I have another family. This has helped me greatly as I have been dealing with my cancer. I feel fortunate to also be getting high quality care from top notch doctors and the advanced technology. I am especially grateful to Dr. Sastry and Anita.
