Dr. Temitope Y Foster, MD

Dr. Foster has been taken great care of me since the day I first met her. She has gone above and beyond to ensure the surgeries I needed were done by the best surgeons she knows. She took time to address issues I had unrelated to my GI issues and I appreciate that more than anything. I feel heard and understood when we meet and I don't get that too much from other providers. Great doctor and staff

BEWARE!!! I struggled whether to write a review; however, today the nightmare continues. I went to Dr. Foster for stomach issues. Her bedside manners were a little dry, but ok. I had a procedure and told my position. Of course paid in full. She did not bother to call me; I received a call from the office manager that it wasn’t cancer and keep taking over counter medication. No details...just that. Scheduled for 2nd procedure that was/is 100% covered by insurance. I was called and told I had not met my deductible and I needed to paid $800. Ok, did not sound correct because I knew it was a covered maintenance procedure. I called the insurance company and was told it was submitted as medical instead of screening; their billing department needed to resubmit as such. I called back and requested the change, which they refused. They could not explain why other than I came in complaining about my stomach....isn’t that the reason anyone goes to a gastroenterologist?!?! But, you want to Bill a… colonoscopy as medical when I qualify for screening...she wasn’t doing anything different. Of course, I canceled. I wasn’t going to write a review until today I get a bill for $2,800!!!! $600 the day of the procedure and told that was my cost!!! So, $3,400 later my stomach still hurts and told to take an over counter med that I was already doing!!!

TEMITOPE Y FOSTER , MD Seems very attentive in your first visit, but wIthin minutes of talking to me I was scheduled for an upper GI. I should have known better when she said “I have an opening on Thursday” and it was Monday. More than two weeks past after my procedure and I had not heard about my results, so i called and the person I spoke to said, “No one has called you?” SMH Then I was prescribed a medicine with some very serious side effects. To this day TEMITOPE Y FOSTER , MD has never called to follow up. I felt like she took the money and was onto the next cash cow. After 30-days on the medicine I was experiencing one of the side effects. I called her office and advised them of my side effects and needed the doctor to call me as I was going to stop taking the medicine. It has been two weeks since that call and two months since my procedure and I have yet to hear from TETEMITOPE Y FOSTER , MD I have decided to go back to my former doctor. It’s over an hour drive, but I know he… cares about his patients and doesn’t treat them like a check to be cashed. If you are referred to TEMITOPE Y FOSTER , MD ask for someone else. She’s about the money instead of patient care.
