How are appointments scheduled?
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience. Preschool children should be seen in the morning when they are rested because the appointment is more enjoyable. School children with a lot of work or who require special sedation appointments or diet restriction are seen in the morning also for the same reason. Dental appointments are excused absences and we will provide your child with an excuse slip to take back to school with them. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient, we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your …scheduled appointment if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard whenever possible.
Do I stay with my child during the visit?
We ask that you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience. We are highly experienced in helping childern overcome anxiety. Separation aniety is not uncommon in children, so please try not to be concerned if your child exhibits some negative behavior. This is normal and will soon diminish. Studies and experience have shown that most children over the age of 3 react more positively when permitted to experience the dental visit on their own and in an environment designed for children. We will invite the parent back for a consult when completed.
Insurance
It is our philosophy that any contract for professional services, is between you and the doctor. Please remember that your insurance is exactly that, your insurance. We are most happy to assist you in any way possible to obtain the best consideration on your insurance claims. However, you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance carrier.
Financial Arrangements
Payment is due when services are rendered. We accept Master Card, Visa, Debit Cards, and CareCredit. An estimate of proposed fees for any procedure will be given upon your request.
Fees for professional services are based on usual and customary fees for our area. We will make every effort to provide you with a treatment plan that fits your timetable, budget, and gives you the best possible dental care.
