Dr Gray - what a blessing it was for me and my husband to meet you! We were both very happy with our first visit to you at Mercy Hospital in Portland. We recently moved clear across the country - and with that move also came the quest for a new pain manager for my chronic back pain. I was very apprehensive to be leaving behind a very caring and competent pain manager in Texas. We have been associated for many, many years. Before we moved I looked on the internet and found your name at Mercy Hospital. All I read about you fit exactly what I needed my doctor to be. You have the experience, you treat what ails me, and when I finally met you - you have a sense of humor and a personality that I value very much. Today you made room for me on your surgical roster. You fit me in - because you could tell that inward in dire straights when you saw me yesterday. I want to thank you for this other very important part that doctors should have - compassion! I've only had one visit with Dr. Grey and he was wonderful. He was prompt, courteous, and compassionate. I felt like he actually cares and that makes me hopeful.
