Dr. Navin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Villanova University, receiving dual Bachelors Degrees in Biology and the Honors Program. He received his medical education at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (M.D.) and The Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (M.P.H.). He completed his Residency Training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Navin is Board-Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is recognized as a Certified Wound Specialist by the American Academy of Wound Management, a Fellow by the American College of Certified Wound Specialists, and a Fellow by the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Navin's practice has included physiatry and wound management in all settings: acute hospitals, acute rehabilitation units, nursing and rehabilitation centers, and outpatient wound and hyperbaric centers and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialty clinics. He is a recognized leader in clinical wound and rehabilitation management. … Dr. Navin's experience also includes governmental health policy. He has provided volunteer healthcare in Guatemala and Tanzania, and he is the recipient of the Seymour Williams Citizenship-Community Service Award. He lives in the Tampa Bay Area with his family.

I simply love Dr. Navin he is always in a pleasant mood and treats the nurses as equals. I have been going to him for four years and he has saved me from amputation many times by treating my diabetic wounds with a walking cast. He is a wonderful family man and I consider him a friend. He does not let his care and treatment of me stop at the clinic. He has given me his personal phone number and email address for times when I am in panic mode. I love the nurses and staff. We have a good time interacting with each other and I appreciate all the health info they share with me. If anyone has a bad experience with this doctor or his staff SORRY the problem is, you!

Very thorough, very professional, and very compassionate. He was also vey good at answering our questions. It's nice to see a doctor who really cares! We did have to wait 3 weeks for my mother's first appointment though.

This young man is an excellent doctor. The only thing that I would have to say is that I think he should lighten-up, because he is way too serious all the time.

Dr. Navin was the first doctor who examined me, and I had seen several before seeing Dr. Navin. I have neck and back problems. He explained my problems clearly. He prescribe a stretching program that really helped. The surgeon I saw before wanted to operate on my hip for a pinched nerve in my back. Dr. Navin diagnosed trochanter bursitis, a hip problem, gave me a medication for inflamation and exercises and the pain going down my leg is gone! My neck pain is improving. I am very happy that I found Dr. Navin!
