Dr. Teresa Ann Andersen, MD

Dr T Andeson is great at making you feel at ease. She or her medical asst call you you back in a timely manner. She goes above and beyond

I absolutely adore Dr. Andersen. I was recommended to her a few years ago by another doctor in Poulsbo that was going to be retiring, and I am so glad that he did. She is very attentive and patient, and she takes the time to explain things to ease your mind more, instead of a basic over view. Her medical assistant is also very on top of it.

Dr. Andersen, although striking me as competent, made no effort towards any kind of personal connection. Yes, I know Doctors are not your "friends" but I left my appointment feeling that I was viewed simply, and primarily, as a biological, medical entity and not a whole person. Perhaps, as I am in my mid-60's, she has a preference as a family doctor for younger patients. If this is the case that is fine. But either she or her receptionists should convey if she has a (strong) preference for certain age groups(s) she sees..

You want to know how great she is? I'll be taking a ferry from King to Kitsap Co. just to visit her. She's sweet, gentle, knowledgeable and excellent at what she does. She remembers you and truly cares. I recommend her very, very highly.

Dr. Andersen went out of her way to learn more about mental health years ago when my daughter had a break down. As a result of the medication she was put on (not prescribed by Dr. Andersen) she developed SJS. Dr. Andersen was key in diagnosing it, in helping cure it, and has been extremely helpful to my and my family in every aspect. I have nothing but nice things to say about her.

Dr. Andersen is a very caring doctor who spends a lot of time listening to the patient, explaining the options, and answering all of your question. She has a terrific practice in a very update, modern, and clean office. I highly recommend her.
