I also would give 0 stars. We had multiple visits during my pregnancy where she promised that during my scheduled c-section she would tighten my abdominal muscles which weren’t badly out of place to begin with. I lost 40lbs during my pregnancy, but the baby was growing beautifully. Her exact words was girl trust me I got you. I have had 3 c-sections previously from awesome; skilled doctors and my stomach looked amazingly afterwards- not at all the case with Dr. Byrd my stomach looked like a actual fat shelf when finished. The surgeon who has to correct her work stated that she should no longer be in practice and the way she sewed my incision was the most horrible work he has ever corrected. I am not her only c-section patient with this complaint Switch doctors immediately if she is scheduled to perform your c-section.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. Was there in pain for hours with no change and when she came in for the second time she rudely said "what's wrong now" then proceeded to tell me she could do an ultrasound but nothing would come up then walked out shaking her head as if I was in the wrong for coming to the hospital in pain. I have NEVER had a doctor so rude and unhelpful in my life like it was a burden to ask her to do her job!!

1) every time I told her I was in discomfort she told me it was normal. 2) had issues since my 2nd month of pregnancy 3) asked why only leg swelled up she said it was normal. Come to find out it is not. 4) made it to 9 months, water broke but no contractions 5) started bleeding, Dr Byrd jokingly told me I should have gone during the week.my water broke on a Saturday. She was at dinner celebrating something (Sep 20, 2014) 6) didn’t stop bleeding, had emergency c-sec. thank God me and my baby were ok no thanks to Dr Byrd. Horrible stay at Hospital ( I worked there too) 7) saw dr Byrd once in the 4-5 days I was there 8) no apologies from her. When I asked what happened she said she didn’t know.....REALLy!!! The nerve. 9) all she had to say was,”you must have high pain tolerance??. No! I didn’t do much during my pregnancy even though according to her I was fine. I was working part time at the hospital. If I could go back (I wish) i would have filed a complaint. I was going… through a lot back then and was just trying to make it by. My hospital stay was a nightmare too.my epidural. Who knows what they did to me but they were worried they checked on my daily unlike my gynecologist who didn’t care. I just wish I had complained about her and the hospital stay. Beware! She will tell you everything is normal. Change Drs as soon as your gut tells you. She’s nice but not a goodOBGYN.

Loved her! My doctor retired so I was a little nervous starting with a new doctor but she was so comforting. I could of left the appointment and gone shopping with her. Felt like a long lost friend.
