Dr. Teresa Elaine Clark, MD

Well, with a fever and bronchitis it took four days to see Dr. Clark. Because she would not see me, it progressed to pneumonia. What good is an internist if she cannot see you when you are sick? I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and waited for 30 minutes coughing with fever in the waiting room. Imagine all the patients I infected! At our pediatrician's office, anyone with fever and an upper respiratory infection is immediately taken to an exam room to protect those in the waiting room. No concern for patients in this office. Her assistant was brusque but I was astonished at the lack of respect shown. I was left in a chilly room with fever, in a paper gown for 30 minutes. No one checked on me or offered me a blanket. Finally, I walked outside and asked for one and was admonished to return to the room. So much for caring. She examined me and prescribed medications in 7 minutes. I had a few other concerns to share with her and she rudely told me that I would have to… made another appointment for another problem and yelled at me for not booking a longer appointment. It was not offered when I made the appointment. My son is an Infectious Disease physician and he described the care I received as "deplorable".

Dr.Clark's staff does not follow up on phone calls ever. My mother has been a patient of Dr. Clarks for a while and on 2 separate occasions her prescriptions were not called . Dr. Clark gives advice she does not treat anything. Very disappointed. I will be looking for a new PCP for my mother.

I'm an established patient who returned from a trip with an illness and in pain. Four calls over four days and not one call returned. As a result, I had to use an emergency room. Dr. Clark seems to be too busy to take care of me. I will find another physician. I can no longer recommend her.
