Dr. Teresa A. Hoffman, MD

Today was my first time ever going to Hoffman and associates obgyn. My appointment was so wonderful from the time i walked in the door to the time i left. Everyone is so nice and empathetic. They treated me like I was family like i have been coming there for years. I would definitely recommend this office to there. Best experience i have ever had in a doctors office.

Teresa A. Hoffman lacks professionalism, empathy, and reflective listening. It is very sad that she is the lead physician in this practice as she has created an environment that is not conducive to the well-being of the patients that are served based on her rude, insensitive, condescending, and "jenny from the block" attitude. I've never in my 30+ years of living experienced a physician's office that played loud degrading music, loud speaking staff (patient and non-patient related), unsanitized restrooms, not to mention the dundalk office that you must walk your urine sample from the restroom down the hall to another room (YUCK!!) and the extremely long wait times. This practice does not adhere to the principles of medical ethics and if you want to be treated with human dignity and respect than I strongly recommend that you do not visit this place. I also would recommend if you have had an unpleasant experience with "this place" to share.

This was the worst experience I ever had in life dealing with bringing a baby in this world Dr. Hoffman Is rude and one of the laziness Dr I every had to endure. Her office team is uneducated and inexperienced. For a month I wasn’t seen being a high risk pregnancy at 31 weeks with Twins called days and left messages for the doctor to call me back and once I had enough and changed Doctors that’s when they called back. Then they expected me to take public transportation when my insurance was paying for taxi service to get me to all my appts but they never filled out the paperwork correctly and told me I didn’t have medical reason not to walk a mile to the bus stop and take the bus and 90 degree weather. As if they was paying for my transportation and they still billed my insurance for month they didn’t see me. Only thing Dr. Hoffman care about is that fake Tan and your money case closed.

Dr Hoffman goes above and beyond to care for her patients. The reviews on here are not at all close to my experience with her. She is kind and patient and caring and incredibly knowledgeable. I trust her with my life and more importantly my kids lives.

I had visited Dr Hoffman for a prenatal check up. She neither did any physical check up nor did she prescribe any sort of tests. She asked me to take vitamins. I asked what sort of vitamins. To which she replied, “any vitamin that is available at the drugstore.” How can she recommend stuff without any test or diagnosis? I told her to prescribe a blood and pelvic check and also do my Pap smear. She told me to come later. After a few days I called up at her office for the follow up visit. She was rude and kept arguing that she wanted to do my Pap smear during the last visit but it was me who didn’t want to get it done. She said that now she has to accommodate me out of turn and waste her time on me. I am going to find another doctor now. No more Teresa Hoffman.

I am 37 years old and consulted Dr Teresa Hoffman for a preventive care exam. She neither performed a Pap smear nor did she do any physical check up. She just talked and talked and talked. I will be getting married at the end 2019 and asked her about planned pregnancy. Just on the basis of my age she told me that I am too old to become pregnant. She said that the last age for conceiving is 33 years. I asked her if she could run some pre pregnancy or fertility tests to make sure if I can or cannot become pregnant or is my pregnancy going to be risky for me and my baby’s life. She said that there are no such tests. She also said that I can only come to know that I’m fertile after I become pregnant, all other tests can be done after I conceive. I feel like I have wasted my time and I have gone in to depression after all the pregnancy discussions that I had with her. I don’t feel like getting married now.

I am a 40 year old who had gone to discuss planned pregnancy with Dr . Teresa Hoffman. She is overtly straightforward which might come out as rude and insensitive. From the consultation it appeared that she prefers perfect patients with whom she can have higher success rates, for example, well built women in her 20’s who may not encounter fertility issues or c-section. She told me that someone of my age cannot become pregnant. I have friends who have had their first child at the age of 42-45 years. Everything is on a case to case basis unlike a generalized statement that Dr Hoffman said. I would have liked if was more hopeful. I was very upset thinking that I can probably never get pregnant. I found her very bookish and not a customized treatment.

Dr. Hoffman provided excellent advise and gave an excellent exam.

When you have to schedule appointments 6 months out, only available M-W, makes it quite difficult to get a yearly appointment. Takes off during holidays weeks when most people have off to make appointments.

I nearly died and so did my baby during delivery. Find someone else.
