Dr. Teresa Lynn Irwin, MD

seen dr. tioran this summer, took 3 months to get an appointment said they weren't getting t he faxes , but my family dr. showed they were getting them they sent several also phone calls. had a stress later that she was unable to attend, never heard anything finally called about 6 weeks later, her office said she would call me, never called. I asked my family dr. to get the results which he did finally and he gave me the results.I again called her office because my family dr. was having trouble getting the results, which later he got they asked me if I wanted to do a follow up in 6 more weeks to go over the results, I said no because I would get them from my family dr. I have never met this dr. Now I have to have a surgery and need the results from her and she has refused to give them to my surgen, because I did't do the follow up!!!!!!!!!I have never seen and office and dr. that are so unprofessional!!!!

They were very friendly at the initial visit. Ordered more labs & tests. They wanted me to follow up with my primary doctor, they said they sent results but my doctor's office or myself never received. It took a month of calls & and finally a visit to get my lab results. They barely returned my calls. My last visit to get my lab results and a refund, no one was available to refund my money. I was told I would receive a call in a few days from the office manager. I have yet to hear from them!!

Dr. Irwin is absolutely wonderful! I love her bedside manner and her attention to detail. She took out the time to show me and explain to me what procedure I needed and why. She listened to my concerns and thoroughly answered my questions. She seems very passionate about women's health. The surgical center in San Marcos had a great staff that kept me comfortable. Initially, I was skeptical because the first time I contacted Dr Irwin's office, I didn't feel the person answering the phone was helpful or interested in answering any questions. However, another staff member returned my call a couple of days later and was very informative and professional. I am so happy I didn't allow that first encounter deter me from selecting her to be my surgeon. She is definitely one in a million!

I went to see Dr. Irwin because I had not been feeling well for sometime and another doctor had suggested I go see a gyn about potential hormone problems. Dr. Irwin was very shocked at my symptoms and suspected that my hormones were indeed quite low and ordered a blood test. She was correct with her diagnosis as my hormone levels across the board were significantly below normal. She has been a good doctor for me.

After waiting over a week for test results, I was prescribed the same antibiotic that I had already told Dr. Irwin was not working for my condition.Questions about possible cause of illness were not followed up by Dr. Irwin.Office staff, doctor, and answering service were all slow to respond to voice mail and requests for call back.

She was a very good Dr. She delivered my first baby and I have to say she is very patient and had very good judgement!
