Dr. Teresa Ocampo Madrid, MD

Office is in Building B, 4th floor, St. Michael's. She has been my doctor for over a year. Appointments are impossible to make (see below) and if you show when they're open (HOURS POSTED HERE ARE NOT ACCURATE) the wait is quite long. Her office's hours posted here online are not accurate. I just visited today at 1:20pm and her office was dark and empty. I asked Information downstairs what her hours were and they didn't know. Security didn't know. No one knew. They didn't know when a doctor's office in their own hospital was open. Security said she is probably there in the late afternoon; that is a long ways away from the hours advertised on this site, so please change them if you can ever manage to find out what those hours are. Madrid's office does not answer calls or voice messages. Thus, I have no idea how to schedule an appointments anymore. Information and Security have no idea either. I will be staking out her office all day to see when she is there. This is ridiculous and… I will be changing doctors asap. Dr. Madrid herself seems too busy when I see her. Her go-to solution for anything from flu to severely sprained ankle is to give me a couple of trial-sized bottles of Aleve and ask me to wait for almost an hour for her exhausted staff to give me a referral. The staff are very nice but are far too busy answering calls (this was a year ago, now they don't even answer my calls) to help patients get in and out on time. Worst doctor's office I've ever visited. For your sanity's sake, switch to a private practice doctor who isn't located in a giant, poorly-managed hospital where nobody knows what anyone else is doing. It's a good thing I'm young and relatively healthy, otherwise I'd have to actually rely on Dr. Madrid for quality health care.

Dr. Madrid is a sweet old lady, but they need to get their butts into work! it is so difficult to know when they are there. At one point of time the office opens at 11am-4, then it changes two weeks after from 1pm-3. come on this is down right unacceptable.
