Teresa Monzon DDS
Teresa Monzon graduated from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry in 1985. She is currently a member of the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Society and a founding member of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Biomimetic Dentistry.
She decided she wanted to be a dentist when she was ten years old. A good family friend was her mentor, a renaissance man that seemed to be able to do anything (he was an artist, jeweler, photographer and flamenco guitarist). Dentistry gives her the opportunity to serve others and do so in a creative, artistic and scientific manner.
She has many hobbies and interests. She is most passionate about knitting, usually working on 4-5 projects at a time. Yoga is another pursuit, she tries to attend class at least 4 times a week. Cooking, hiking and horses round out the list.
