I loved Dr. Nimmo. She finally got my thyroid properly regulated. I had a problem with a doctor who wouldn't adjust for results. There is no point in having blood work done if the doctor doesn't read it and adjust accordingly. Dr. Nimmo was consistently responsive to results and I finally stabilized. Also, The Shakelford location was awesome- efficient and good facility. I hope she is back there. The University Ave location was not good at all. Most of my appts. were at the Shackelford location so I will give her a 5 for everything- called back almost immediately. Only 2 appts at University location - ugh- mostly 3 stars.

Dr. Nimmo was highly recommended to us by a friend with a Type 1 child. We've seen her once and she was very timely and didn't rush us out the door. I was allowed to ask my 20? plus without feeling like I needed to hurry. She answered my questions to ease my worries and tests that came back confirmed her statements to be true.

Although on my first appt, she was running late due to car issues, it was well worth my wait. She explained everything to me, what could happen, what treatment she recommends. She has a wonderful nurse Corine who also returns phone calls with concern and in a timely manner despite the fact they are busy. I had my treatment, so im finally on a road to recovery with a Doctor who is very loving and concerned with my health.

She was very attentive. Listened and shared her thoughts and planned my care out for me as well medicines and labs. A very good doc.

she is late or never prepared. dosnt seem to realy care. always is ina hurry.dosnt ask qutions about your problems.needs to care more about her patians.not very profetional.

This doctor really cares about her patients. If there is anything that she can do or anything her staff can do, they will do to get you on the right track to better health.

She is very condescending and does not listen. She rushes and treated me like a number. I would not recommend Dr. Nimmo under any circumstances.

Dr Nimmo seems well intentioned but is always unprepared (never familiar or up to date with my history/tests), doesnt come across as confident (wishy washy, doesnt clearly state options), limits my choices/options based on her personal opinion of what does and doesnt work, and constantly wants to relate to me through the use of personal history instead of hearing my concerns and addressing them medically. I need someone to help advise me in a potentially life altering decision, and I feel I am making that decision based on web content and not my medical professionals education and experience.
