Teresa Anne Olsen

Dr. Olsen is known for many things, gruffness maybe, intensity, oh definitely, harsh, maybe sometimes, but as a patient and as a medical professional, I can whole heartedly say the reason she may get that way or come off that way is when the care for her patients is not up to her standards. Dr. Olsen found things wrong with me after newly persistant headaches that I didn't know was going on to begin with. Her promptness and thoroughness made me know from day one that even thought we didn't know what was going on, no matter how many doctors I would have to get referred to, I had her on my side. I appreciate Dr. Olsen and her team more than they'll know!

Her exceptional care and personal concern for her patients, are matched only by her skilled medical competence.

My 2015 "routine" physical did NOT go well. I may be left with permanent damage. Hippocratic oath states, "Do NO Harm". The oath was completely ignored. Staff NOT that competent, either. Actually was yelled at by Dr. Olsen - "not" the 1st time !! Believe it is time that she retired. Her staff's roughness is a reflection on her. I have had lengthy waits in the waiting room to see her. Would NOT recommend to anyone at this time. She was highly recommended to me years ago. She does know "which" doctors in the Mercy system who are good and to whom you should be referred to, this is a plus. She does call and check on you at home following a breast biopsy, cat scan, etc. But, I did NOT receive a call this time because the medical injury was caused in her office. Sorry to feel this way, but patients deserve the truth.

In all my years I have never visited with a doctor that took the time and is very thorough and made sure the right info is in the chart. She made sure the right test are ordered and wants the best care for her patients.

This doctor or her best friend must have written the one review that's posted. (?) I found her to be very harsh and unkind, and is well known around town (as well as among her professional peers) for these two characteristics. She's competent enough but, in my most humble opinion, is meaner than a snake. If you're lucky, you will be seen by her assistant instead.
