Dr. Teresa Rolfe Thacker, MD

Dr. Thacker lacks bedside manners. She was entirely dismissive of mental health conditions, implying that medications for mental health are not an option, and you should just change your mindset. She disregarded my previous doctor's treatment plan. Thacker did not read my chart prior to the appointment, and took notes on a piece of paper filled with other patients' information. I could see other people's information. I do not recommend seeing this doctor. Waste of time.

Thacker is among the worst docs I have seen. Milton is a very small town in WV and had some of the worst medical care in the USA. I wrote a very thorough review on thacker a few days ago but vitals removed it because they are only interested in positive reviews of docs apparently. No wonder everyone says the reviews here are all fake.

Had problems with Thacker mis-diagnosing and not believing the severity of my issues and I needed surgery.

Sent me to cost treatments I had already received after she misdiagnosed me. Really messed up my healthcare and have chronic issues because of her. Multiple times she misdiagnosed things and ignored and dismissed medical concerns I had brought up. When I finally got a doc that listened a gave me an MRI I was able to get the treatments I needed but have chronic issues because thacker never listened and thought she could tell by looking at someone what their problems were. Maybe try giving you patients the benefit of the doubt doctor thacker and run some tests because your arrogance has really contributed to my health problems. I would not recommend anyone go to her for anything other than issues like a runny nose.
