Teresa Joanna Wojtasiewicz, MD

Teresa Wojtasiewicz, MD, a board-certified neurosurgeon at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, treats all neurological diseases with a particular interest in Parkinson's Disease, essential tremor, dystonia, trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy, and spasticity. She is a general neurosurgeon and is able to provide compassionate, skilled care for any patient facing a neurosurgical illness.

Throughout the years, Dr. Wojtasiewicz has developed an interest in functional neurosurgical procedures. She has extensive experience performing a wide variety of treatments to help her patients, including Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Stereotactic EEG placement, laser ablation, and baclofen pump implantation.

Dr. Wojtasiewicz is highly skilled in using state-of-the-art technology including improving high precision and accuracy with intraoperative navigation and minimally invasive procedures to help make neurosurgery safer and gentler for her patients.
