Dr. Teri Beth Pearlstein, MD

I was always under the assumption that physicians took a hippocratic oath to give treatment to the best of their ability and most importantly to anyone no matter who they are or what the physician may think of them. I found that to be untrue regarding this one. If she doesn't like you she will make it abundantly clear and will make remarks that are cruel and unprofessional. I was recommended to this despicable character because I have chronic pain and was led to believe that some psychiatric intervention would do me some good. She told me that I was not a candidate for care in her clinic. She also went on to tell me that I should go to a pain clinic because they will assist me in "living" with pain. I've never had experience with pain clinics and was unaware that they give opiates to reduce pain because she never told me that. She told me that she didn't want me on opiates because they are addicting. In other words she'd rather me live with pain. The more i kept telling her that I… didn't want to live with pain the more she mentioned it and she seemed to be enjoying it. This may seem inappropriate to write here but i would have great joy in wrapping my hands around her neck and squeezing the life out of her but before that i would enjoy to see her suffer in deep pain. If you want a kind and caring physician run when you hear her name. The feeling i have for this lady is complete contempt.

Dr. Pearlstein is an excellent, caring physician. I would recommend her to any woman who needs guidance.

excellent physician. really knows her field. As a rule, I do not believe in psychs, however, you are not going there and talking while she listens. You talk and she listens and draws constructive and decisive questions to assist in determining what will truly help you.
