I used to go to this place quite often and I have recommended a few people there. It seems this place has declined drastically. When you call, expect for someone to answer and put you on hold immediately. I waited on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up and calling back. When I called back, the call forwarded to voicemail. When I called back a 3rd time, I waited for another 12 minutes before someone picked back up. I had an appointment balance of $30 due. Due to the hurricane, I was out of work and power and lost all of my food as others did. They refuse to send my prescription because I have not paid the $30. I called now to pay that and get my prescription for the last time for this horrible place. I do not recommend this place if you are using a medication that is on the more serious side as they will hold it hostage if you have even a balance of one dollar due. I suppose this review is more about the inadequate staffing. The same chick has been running the front of the place for… quite a while and I can only imagine they are losing many clients due to her inability to properly manage an office desk. As far as Terri goes, when I first met her, she seemed really interested in bettering my quality of life. As time went on, it became one medication after another, one diagnosis after another. I am not sure what happened to this place.

They have no compassion for people’s everyday chaotic lives. I understand the no show fee but not rescheduling? They didn’t even bother to ask why I missed the appt. They only care about taking my $100 and keeping it. I am in need of a new doctor due to insurance changes. I have a long history of depression and anxiety, panic attacks. I have prescriptions that need refilling and possibly need changing. I couldn’t help that my boss kept me hung up at work and I missed the appt. now I have to wait God knows how long to get in with a new dr or go back to the dr that will cost me more because of my Insurance. You shouldn’t take a dr’s oath if you have no intentions on being flexible for people asking for help. Shameful.

Dr. Schwartz has taken excellent care of me for years. She's pleasant and patient with me and listens to what I have to say. She manages my meds according to how I'm feeling. Sometimes requiring a medication ajustment or a change.

Called to make an appointment was told had to make an appointment for paperwork. Called to reschedule that appointment was put on hold for over 5 minutes. Called the next day to reschedule and was told no call no show for paperwork and you aren't allowed back. Explained that I was never given this information. Girl was rude and completely unapologetic of situation. Then SHE HUNG UP ON ME. Called back and was told to seek another doctor. SERIOUSLY?! WORST OFFICE STAFF EVER!!

One of the best psychiatrist I have ever been to. Listens, and ask appropriate question regarding your care. SK
