Summary
I grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA, and went to college in Claremont, CA. I initially earned an MBA at the University of Chicago and worked for ARCO as an economic analyst. I also became heavily involved with the Special Olympics organization as coach and area director. With changes in the oil industry and a desire to work by directly helping people, I went back to school to become a physician. I received my medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed my emergency medicine residency at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. I continue to be involved with the Special Olympics and am happy to be back in Southern California to be near friends and family.
