Dr. Terrance Scott Chilson, MD

I have seen Dr. Chilson twice now trying to unravel a long standing issue after being given less than appropriate care by another doc. He is very attentive to my concerns and ask lots of questions. Very concerned and empathetic. I have every confidence that he will get to the bottom of an issue that has been plaguing me for years.

Dr. Chilson was able to help me diagnose an illness I had been struggling with for years. He is thorough and has excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Chilson takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer questions. Dr. Chilson does follow up with his patients, which I admire very much. I'm glad that he wants to ensure I am on the right track and that medications aren't having any negative effects that I may not call to question. Appointments usually go pretty quick, and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. I do recommend him to anyone seeking a primary care physician.

I have found Dr. Chilson to be very kind, compassionate in his treatments and care with my aging Mother ( who was not always agreeable). He listens to the patient and what their wishes are, not just writing a prescription to get them out of the office. I feel he treats the "whole person" ....not just the current malady.

Dr. chilson may or may not be a good doctor, but it is hard to determine that through the endless cycle of unwanted "mandatory" office visits. My husband is a patient of his, or was, and herniated 2 discs. He is a very active, healthy, 22 year old with no prior or current health conditions. Dr. Chilson put us through every possible treatment, and required "follow up visits" to "discuss things." When we finally decided to have surgery done, after finding "The Laser Spinal Institutes" and getting the ok from Dr. Chilson, we went through the long process of scheduling and getting organized for the 5 day visit to Philadelphia. The institute sent a short but common list of pre-operative blood work they wanted completed. They said we could either have it done here or wait and they would have it completed in Philly. To save ourselves some out-of-network expense we decided to have the blood work done here. Dr. Chilson's office refused to order the blood work if my husband did not come in for… "preoperative clearance." He had already been in several times recently for his back. When I asked the receptionist what the doctor needed him to come in for specifically, she could not answer me. She said he would not order testing without seeing him first. We called the Spinal Institute and they said they had never had as much trouble with any doctor, in the world, as they have with Dr. Chilson. Save yourself MANY MANY co-pays, and see someone else. My husband has since transferred his records to my doctor who we both adore.
