Dr. Terrance George Hanlon, MD

HANLON REVIEW ONE Solicited apparently I should have known as he was directly state referred (the entity which has a lot to cover in regards to me. Ever since their human rights violations on my person in 2011 they approached nearly every provider and requested my file and usually give some sordid pieces of false information) I requested a referral stating I was not comfortable with how Hanlon was attempting to take control of the Other specialists who work with me (neurologist,etc) When this request wasn’t addressed I requested again This next request was met by a cold phone call from an unknown stating they would hold a conference with Dr. Brady, the doctor to whom I wished to be referred I did not hear back I spoke with someone else whom I made clear in a kind way I didn’t appreciate not being taken serious She sincerely apologized but said nothing above it the referral I requested again and his was met with Hanlon referring to my request as ‘lashing out

Dr Hanlon is a very motivated doctor, who spends an unusual amount of time with patients (I would guess minimum 20 minutes up to 40 minutes or more).He loves his work and shows it.His diagnosis is spot on and shows creativity.Bring cash for the copay as they do not accept cards.It is hard to speak to a live person when calling as he is short of staff. His phone menu is a bit confusing too.Dr Hanlon calls in the evenings with test results, which is very convenient and he spends enough time to discuss the results.Off late his test-result calls are not always made or done very late after more than a week to 10 days, due to his staff shortage. I hope he can fix that.Dr Hanlon also actively acts as a patient advocate with insurers, other physicians, hospitals and other providers, which is quite unusual.As to 'technology', beyond having an Ipad or laptop and sending out prescriptions electronically, he is not very 'automated'. No website, no email address, no portal with him. Still sending… 'orders' out manually by fax.

Dr. Hanlon is incredible. I would recommend him to anyone. When I am in the patient room, i never feel ruched and always leave with a full understanding of everything.
