Dr. Terrance Roland Reeves, MD

I was sent to this Doctor from another pain clinic due to the new laws in Florida (the opioid laws). He took me on as a new patient and màde me all kind of promises about how he could give me this new medicine that could manage my pain better than the pain medicine I was already taking. It was ALL LIES!!! Not only did the medicine not work but I called his office for 3 weeks to get in to see him or have him call me back and he couldn't be bothered. He basically forced me to go cold ?? and the only person who I got to talk to was his Power Hungry Secretary Who has LOW SELF-ESTEEM ISSUES! If that all wasn't enough they told my old pain management Dr. NOT to take me back!!! This Dr. Should have his license pulled They ended up putting me in the hospital for 5 days with a 1 inch whole in my stomach and blood pressure of 250/140!

This man lied to my spouse and tried to force me to stay at his facility an extra 30 days. He sent me to the emergency room for a condition I DID NOT have. That was an extra $14,000. Thank God the emergency room refused to send me back to his facility. Now, I am divorced and have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I believe he is a sociopath, and his only motivation is money. He has been foreclosed on with mention of a past bankruptcy in the county records. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to him. It's the only way to stop him from harming others. I beg you to stay away from this cruel man.

Being practically a life long chronic pain patient (due to a broken back as a child) I have seen and been to all types of Doctors..... Everything the pain management field has to offer, transversely all the addiction field has as well due to the "pill mill" doctors who only care about the money I the patient represents. So when I tell you this doctor is different you can trust me based on a lifetime of seeing "these" doctors. And different is a great way to describe Dr. Reeves. Different in so many ways, all of which are good, no exceptional would be the correct word. He cares and it is so very obvious. Upon my first appointment he had me mesmerized with his wisdom and the questions he asked made me feel like so much more than just a number. As a man it's a little embarrassing but by the end of the first meeting I was moved to tears . I felt like I had just meet the world's best psychologist not a pain or addiction doctor. Then upon going to get my script filled I was made aware… by the pharmacist just how amazing his reputation is not only in this field but he was also apparently known as one of the best vascular surgeons in the state before he did this. I know I've said a lot and I could say much more because every meeting with him I'm even more impressed. He is not some stuffy dressed up doctor who looks down his nose at you, he is a plain clothed "guy next door" type you would have over to watch the game. So if you're looking for this type doctor look no more he is the BEST and worth the drive if you are anywhere with-in the state in my humble opinion.

Dr. Reeves without ever knowing me tried to coerce into being admitted to his facility for rehab when I was and never have had a substance abuse problem. He insisted that I be taken from over 2000 miles away to his facility while I was critically ill with multi organ failure.

I am so happy I found Dr. Reeves!! Its hard to know where to start! The entire staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate while treating addiction. I was in fear I would never get my husband back. I was skeptical about him using suboxone to treat his addiction as it can be highly addictive as well. Dr Reeves does not just prescribe suboxone though. He watches his patients closely and has them take steps they would take in an outpatient rehab. It is a little costly to start, but well worth it. If you follow the steps he has laid out then the money is nothing. They will work with you to help you get your life back.

Dr. Reeves and his staff at Destin Recovery are truly caring and knowledgeable. Addiction is chronic fatal disease if not treated. Stop looking and call Dr. Reeves. He will help.

I believe that this doctor is so misguided that he makes clinical decesions based on devious heresay only.I I truly believe that Dr. Reeves must be stoped must be stopped because the approaches he takes are without merit and I believe that he is probably the most greedy and dangerous doctor Ive ever seen in 70 years. I am concerned that by his actions, to the extent I strongly believe that he must be must be a severe sociopath. I implore people to never trust or go near this man!
