He said I had "physical manifestations of mental illness" (leg swelling, feeling weak and dizzy, frequent urination, naseau, frequent urinary tract infections, yeast infections, thrush, periods stopped, blurry vision, tingling in three toes on my right foot) and I was "psychotic", and that there was "absolutely nothing wrong with you." He then sent me back to my work as aerial lineman. I was diagnosed with DIABETES by another doctor subsequent to this visit, although not before I lost my job and had to find another. My company was not going to risk putting me back on the job driving a company vehicle and doing aerial cable work when I was dizzy. I did seek a consultation with a pyschologist, who said I had mild situational depression due to the lack of medical treatment and the way it affected my life, but it was not serious enought to warrant any medication, and none of the symptoms I had fit any mental illness she had ever heard of.
