Dr. Terrence Paul Murphy, MD

I had two different procedures with Dr. Murphy and I had to go back two times for him to correct his mistakes. The last surgery, he said that he was going to treat me one way and took a short cut which did not resolve the problem. Very disappointed.

Went to Dr. Murphy for a consult for plastic surgery. First, I waited almost an hour past my appt. time. Second, questions he asked he would not remember (or pay attention) and he would ask them again. Not impressed with the doctor or his staff.

DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE GOING TO THIS SURGEON!!! Dr. Murphy released me from his care with LIFE THREATENING internal bleeding from a spleen rupture. Moments after I got home I had to be rushed by ambulance to the hospital. I have PROOF that Dr. Murphy was AWARE of the internal bleeding when he let me leave his office. I didn't know this but we have 3 chambers in our lungs. The internal bleeding caused one lung to collapse and the other 2 filled with fluid. The pain was so severe I couldn't breath, I was sure I was going too die. I was hospitalized for 5 days in the ICU. I had many procedures done by Dr. Murphy I had eye lid surgery which came out terrible. He cut my eyeball and left me with terrible scars around my eyes plus one eye droops. I did have a breast augmentation which was the only thing he did that came out ok. I'm looking for another surgeon to repair his mistakes. Keep in mind, people cannot make statements like this if they're not true otherwise he could sue me. … So learn from my mistakes!!! The difference of a wise man and a fool. A wise man learns from others mistakes a fool learns from his own. These are not the only problem I had with this surgeon. He performed a neck lift I didn't want or ask for causing me added pain and it looks horrible. There is so many more issues I had with him I cannot list them all. He did NOT fulfill his obligations with me either. Do your research because there are so many women who have gone through similar ordeals. Think of the ones who say nothing. Also look at "yelp.com"" for reviews. So I'm doing my research this time around. TAKE CARE!

Went for an augmentation appt and wasn't impressed by the staff the lady who helped me get on different sizes was cold. She seemed botherd. We waited awhile for the doctor to come. Not impressed

The service I have received from Dr Murphy and is staff has been top notch from the beginning. I felt completely at ease with him as my surgeon as well as his whole medical team. I really liked that his beautiful office was connected to Swedish hospital; hence more regulations than private practices, I would imagine. I felt there was such a wonderful and pragmatic energy throughout the entire expereince and I felt at ease throughout it all. The entire staff answered all my millions of questions and made me feel like a priority throughout the entirety of the surgery and recovery. I also really appreciated Dr Murphy's kindness and honesty. I felt I was given all my options and honest straight forward answers, which I highly value in a medical professional. I would recomend Dr Murphy and his entire staff to any of my friends or family. My friend had her augmentation ten years ago and she recomended him to me, but I also have several other friends who have been beyond pleased. I am a small… framed woman (only 5'3) , so didn't want to go too big. I went under the muscle 350 cc round smooth implants and absolutely love them! I'm also very athletic and I truly am beyond happy with the results and size. They are symetrical and look beautiful! I feel finally in proportion and love the way I feel. I always had a complex about being flat chested, and feel so liberated to finally not have that feeling anymore, not to mention no more padded bras. I had researched this surgery for almost 8 years, before making the jump and finally making it happen. I'm so grateful I went with Murphy Plastic surgery! My experience here was nothing short of amazing and I'm so grateful I chose Murphy Plastic Surgery. I will also continue to go them for Botox and other facial treatments.

Dr Murphy spent time listening to me and also cared after my procedure that I was happy with my results. He is a great surgeon and I am a happy patient. I have recommend him to my closest friends and family

I visited with Dr Murphy a year prior to my proceedure. I had many phone conversations and e mails with his staff during that time. The staff was punctual in responding and helped establish my confidence with the numerous procedures I was considering. When I had the surgery the staff and Dr Murphy continued to make me feel relaxed. I spent overnight at Swedish Hospital and the staff there was overwhelming supportive. Most of all I am satisfied with the results.

Not only did Dr. Murphy go above and beyond my expectations and surgery outcomes, he was very professional and made me feel at ease through the whole process. His staff was very professional, caring and supportive. I am ecstatic with my results and would absolutely refer anyone I know to Murphy Plastic Surgery.

I had several procedures done with Dr. Murphy and am very pleased with each. I had a breast implant removal and replacement - one of the implants had ruptured and the original surgery was done by a different surgeon 16 years ago. They now look and feel much more natural. I also had a rhinoplasty, cheek lift, and neck lift. I was VERY worried about doing anything to my face - however I'm SO glad I did. I look natural and refreshed. Nothing looks "done" or "plastic." Dr. Murphy is incredibly talented. His support and staff is equally professional and pleasant.
