Dr. Terrence Robert Yates, MD

I am sitting in the doctor’s room waiting and it has been one hour and a half. This isn’t the first time. It is everytime. I need to find a doctor who values their patients time and schedule.

Dr. Yates is very kind, caring, knowledgeable and compassionate. He seems to really care about his patients and is spot on with diagnoses. They do tend to be a little slow getting to you when you get there but Dr. Yates does give you his undivided attention when he is with you. He takes the time to answer questions when you have them. They are also great about working you when you have an emergency. His office staff is great.

after waiting over an hour to get in with an appointment, blood work was ordered. It was ten days before Dr. Yates called with any results and that was only after I called his office a few times. He then ordered a test at the hospital, That was 2 weeks ago and he has not bothered to call with the results. I will not be going back!

They are very slow and allow the docs to get backed up, which causes every appointment to be late. Terry, is a great person, very friendly and spiritual, but sometimes loses track of time and also what he promises in the room. Over all one of the better family practice docs there, but do not go if your in a hurry.
