Dr. Terri Hayes Henson, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Henson for several years and I've seen her many times. I found her to be knowledgeable and competent. She has been caring and kind. I trust her diagnosis and treatment. Very satisfied.

I saw the nurse practioner. Well. .. after three visits and 300.00 later, I was told that she could not help me. I am stinging and burning on my arms and you can see the red hives under my skin

I went to her after a chemical peel i gad in another state. She spent little time looking at my face.My face continued to burn and stay red after a peel at plastic surgeons. And she told me it was nothing, to use retin-a. That as the worst thing I could have done. The peel damaged my skin barrier and 4 yeas later I have man contact and irritant allergies on my face. I continue to get more and more contact allergies. I would not recommend her. If she would have dianosed my skin being damaged, I don't think I would be where I am now.

Was so quick with me that she misdiagnosed the problem, and it got extrememly bad afterwards because I was told it was nothing. Very poor bedside manner. Very short and curt with me. She also made some remarks that significantly lowered my self esteem and that I felt were completely unnecessary. The nurse practitioner is much more friendly, though I took issue with my last visit with her because I was told on the phone that I could have a spot removed while pregnant only to have her say it wasn't ideal once I had arrived, waited almost an hour, and paid. I left with NO spot removal and they refused to refund my money even though they had assured me it wouldn't be a problem up front.Since the doctor is lousy and the practices of charging are not fair, I have taken my business elsewhere and suggest others do the same.

This was my first visit to a dermatologist. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't have any suspisious moles or concerns regarding past sun damage. In a way, I was glad that the exam was quick. Afterall, I don't care to spend a lot of time at any doctor's office. She named some things going on (I guess for the assistant to log notes), but didn't explain them to me. I couldn't even remember the terms she mentioned to look them up when I got home. I wasn't asked if I had questions, and didn't feel like I could really ask her about specific things. I managed to ask one or two things as she was running out the door. Overall, pleased with my appointment, as far as getting the screening that I was after.

I have been to this office several times and have left disappointed in the attitude of these women. Very unprofessional. The doctor (I use loosely) on duty was in her pajamas and treated my son so rudely...let me add he is 7. She terrified him and had completely no concern or compassion. I was wrong to ever go back and never will. Yes, you are in and out quick, but it is only because they do not care and you are just a insurance claim to them. Now I have to deal with my child that has never been afraid of the doctor being terrified from now on.

My overall experience at the office was great. I didn't have to wait long. Dr Henson addressed all my problems. I was prescribed some acne medicines and when I went to fill them they were denied. I called the office so they could do a prior authorization to get my medicines approved the nurse explained it may taked up to 7 days to hear from the insurance but offered samples for the meantime which I thought was very nice and she also explained that the insurance sometimes doesn't approve acne medicines after a certain age because they consider it cosmetic.Which is so stupid they don't know what is going on with my face. So I waited a few days and called the nurse for an update she said they denied the prescription and the insurance wanted me to try a different kind of medicine first. I dont understand why the insurance decides which medicine I need anyways.So I just wanted to write this to let everyone know that it's not always the doctors office that takes so long to get prescriptions… and decides which medicine to use it's the insurance.The office staff was very nice and informative and offered samples until I got this prolem resolved.

I went to this Dermatology clinic to see what could be reccomeded to prevent male pattern baldness. Terri came in, looked at my chart told me a quick paragraph about Rogaine and Propecia which seemed like she was reading from a script. She then started to back out of the room after about 3 minutes. I had to ask her if she wanted to look at my hair. She obliged and said "it looks thinning". She then backed out of the room while still in mid-sentence and was gone...as if she was only doing me a favor by stopping by.. I would never go back here.

Took forver to get the office to get the proper paper work to the Insurance for my perscription.... still a week and a half later they still have not provided the paper work correctly......I Have called over 10 times this weekFollow up is terrible

I LOVE THIS OFFICE. I HAVE SEEN ALL THREE PROVIDERS.THEY DO NOT BEAT AROUND THE BUSH THEY TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AND GIVE LOTS OF SAMPLES AND VERY CONSIDERATE OF THE COST OF MEDS MADE SURE I HAD INSURANCE AND GAVE ME REBATE CARDS.THEY GAVE ME LOTS OF READING MATERIAL ABOUT MY CONDITION.THE NURSES COULD ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAD. I WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO THIS CLINIC AND IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A DERMATOLOGIST I WOULD GO TO HER SHE SAVED MY LIFE.
