Dr. Terri Anne Russell, MD

Besides being rude, she takes forever. It’s easier to drive somewhere else and at least be treated with respect than go to her. I will NEVER take anyone there again. God forbid you ask for a shot record, you might inconvenience her.

I would avoid taking your children here, especially if they are older, most especially if they need something in a timely manner.

For starters, You must not be from Texas as it's ok to be casual in the work place, especially in Austin. As far as Dr. Russell's offices and staff go, she shares that Austin office and sometimes goes with out her staff. So the people you refer to as hiphop and rude do work for the other doctor. Not once have they ever been rude. What you missed about Dr. Russell is that she my run behind, but your child will never go with out excellent care. She gives your child all the attention they need, if you need 10 minuets or hour of her time you get it. Your are never told time is up or you weren't scheduled for that to make another appointment. She will see your child over the weekend, on holidays as she takes her own call. Your mistake was leaving. So sorry you felt cheated. All doctor offices have 15 days by law to get medical records to you or your new doctor. The office was not dirty but Old, as they have been in that complex for over 60 years. So not to sure what illegal thing you were… talking about. And just so you know my child saw Dr. Russell for 20 years and then brought her child to her.

Do not make the mistake!!!this is the first doctor I ve seen in my life that did not wear doctor uniform.wait a minute actually I did in 80`s in third world countries.cowboy boots and jeans are ok but not for us.Equipment and the office is old and the place is dirty.you might not have extra money to fix the door that almost hit my wife but at least have someone clean the place.when we decided to switch a doctor they took it personal and gave us a hard time.Everyone was mean to us.staff is rude. they have a number that no one answers. answering machine wants you to dial one for Austin office and when you transfer all you get is busy tone. Maybe because those ladies in ,hiphop outfit, I mean in the office kept saying that they do NOT work for dr Russel ???and we should keep calling the number that didn`t exist.They straight up did not send our medical records on purpose. I kept going to the office and kept calling. I almost begged for the records.when we asked to new doctor and my wifes… OBGYN they said what she was doing was not legal. they kept saying it would take 14 days to send the medical record.i filled the form and they just wanted me to leave the office. I kept asking how I could pay the $25 fee that is stated on the form and the ladies at the desk said they do NOT work for dr Russel. I am wondering if I went to the wrong office but no that was the old office that had a broken door with no doctor. well I don`t know what is going on, we are very happy we finally found a clean,professional place where they answer phones and talk about our childs health instead of BBQ places to visit in Lockhart.oh they also wear uniforms...
