Dr. Terry Michael Baird, MD

Terry M. Baird, M.D., is a Staff Physician in Cleveland Clinic Childrens Hospital Department of Neonatology. Dr. Baird is board certified in pediatrics and neonatology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He completed his undergraduate degree cum laude in chemistry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. His post-graduate training includes a pediatric residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, Ill., and a neonatology fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Baird is an established basic researcher and has published multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, as well as having contributed abstracts and presentations at a number of professional association meetings. He also has secured several grants over the years, for which he was principal investigator.

…clinical activities and research, Dr. Baird has taught on core topics in neonatology at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr Bairds specialty interests include newborn breathing and respiration and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
