Amazing practice! They are professional, polite, and always accommodate my needs.

Going to her for two years and it feel like she is all about the money. I feel like she does a better job when she makes more on the treatment. It's a shame. My last couple of visits have only been okay.

She takes a very holistic view of her patients. She and her staff spend a good amount of time, ask and answer questions and make you feel really well cared for. I've been going to her for nearly 4 years and I wouldn't switch.

Dr Jacobson and her team are wonderful! I can not imagine seeking medical care anywhere else.

In 2010 Dr. Jacobson changed her private practice to concierge medicine (description below), which is a rapidly growing trend in an industry that has found itself trying unsuccessfully to give large volumes of patients good care with 5-10 minute appts (with several week waiting periods). Doctors wanting to do better by their patients have struggled to deal with the business viability of lower reimbursement rates from the insurance industry, and increasing malpractice, overhead, staffing, and paperwork costs. Concierge medicine (also referred to as boutique medicine and retainer medicine) is where patients pay an out-of-pocket fee, on top of the regular fees covered by insurance for appointments and labs, to 1) get appts within 1 day, 2) get direct access to the doc 24-hours a day via phone and email, 3) have little to no waiting time in the lobby, 4) have lengthy doctor appointments designed to thoroughly cover all of their health needs and concerns, and 5) give doctors the time to… consult with other specialists regarding the patient's health. To you negative reviewers: If concierge medicine isn't for you, go find another doctor. Not everyone wants the kind of elevated care that a concierge model follows, and that's fine. Nor can everyone afford the cost of concierge medicine, or choose to make it a budgetary priority. (Not everyone can afford or prioritize acupuncture, massage therapy, and other alternative health treatments either.) I do choose to prioritize an upgraded service for medical care in my life. It's my "alternative health care choice". If you don't want to do it, don't do it, but for heaven's sake, have the integrity to be honest about the care you've received with Dr. Jacobson up until she changed her business model (which by the way, she and her staff sent at least 3 letters to all of her patients, plus a professionally produced DVD in which Dr. Jacobson explained in detail why she was choosing to move to this model, plus she talked in person with every patient who was in for an appointment, over the year prior to her final complete move to concierge medicine. It's not like you didn't have warning.) I have seen Dr Jacobson for 6+ years now, with about 10 appointments a year, so I am well qualified to report on the kind of treatment I have received there by both her and her staff. She and they have been unfailingly courteous and caring about me and my health, both physical and mental. They have caught some major health issues for me early in the game and saved my quality of life. They have been the coordinators and monitors of numerous aspects of my various health conditions; they are the glue that keeps that complex process and data together (so I don't have to), and it is they who regularly communicate with the many other physicians and labs, and then get back to me in a very timely manner. When I have appointments, Dr. Jacobson truly listens to me and is part of my team-of-two in keeping my health and life on track. Her staff is genuinely friendly and warm. There is nothing more I could ever ask of a general practicioner. For those of you considering a doctor, you cannot go wrong with Dr. Terry Jacobson.

Dr. Jacobson is my primary care doctor. I also see a cardio, endo, and gastro. Jacobson has made sure that all specicalists communicate and consolidate findings with her. She in-turn keeps and redistributes summeries to all. She does not charge for this. I find she is every bit as knowledgable as they are as I am kept in the communication loop as well. With their input, she has suggested and made changes to medications and protocals they prescribed. She knows her stuff! I'm 62 and in good health because I use the "team". Reciently went to Close Care. Well worth the cost. Allows 24 hour communication with Jacobson not just an answering service or nurse. Allows me to access my records on line as well. Have hospitalized my daughter and son for weekend problems/injuries all the time in direct communication with Jacobson. Afterwards at home, she personally has called to check on recovery, even offered a home visit. I'm not a high wage earner, I just want the best medical attention when I… need it. In 35 years, I have had a few primary care doc's. She's the best!

Dr. Jacobson and the office staff are highly professional and she is a fantastic physician who attends to my needs. I have referred many friends to see her. She is top rate and has an excellent fund of knowledge.
