Dr. Terry Randall Kaylor, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Kaylor for a long time now. He is ALWAYS friendly and take the time to talk to you. The staff is also very friendly. Consult with Ohio State physicians match his diagnosis also.

I was referred to this quack by my family doctor, as I have been having issues with my Esophagus & upper G.I. I go to my appointment at Mercy, staff was cranky acting, but this so called quack, is why I'm leaving a review. DO NOT GO TO HIM, he will tell you he didn't have time to look at your medical chart, though it was faxed to him over 6 weeks prior, twice. Then proceeds to tell me, that I needed to see a "shrink". He thought my problems were all in my head. I walked out of that office & went to another G.I. which was affiliated with Mercy in Batavia, that Doctor was so pleasant & so was the staff. He ordered a Colonoscopy & Endoscopy, at Mercy in Fairfield. When I go in for the Endoscopy, the nurses inform me, that Dr. Kaylor had ordered these for me, I told them, he did not, & NEVER to give him any information on me. Needless to say, if all of this was in my head, why have I already had surgery to repair the problems I went to see Dr. Quack for? Do not go this person, as he… lies to your face & then tries to take credit for something he didn't do.

I have seen Dr. Kaylor several times and always found him to be pleasant, patient and courteous. He explains things to me in terms that I can understand and never makes me feel silly for some of the questions I have asked. He has a great sense of humor that I find refreshing! I'll continue to see him !

If my PCP referred me, and I've been to the ER, also have been throwing up several days, why was I not admitted for surgery to remove my painful Gallstones? (which now had bile leaking into my pancreas & infection He is a quack with unlikely gastro-specialist skills; I should have read these reviews first, my bad. This is how you DO NOT impact the high cost of health care - if diagnosed correctly first, would have saved THOUSANDS !! Boo to this DR!!

Dr. Kaylor has no desire to figure out what's wrong with me. The answer is not pain pills! He has no empathy and is simply dismissive. Not to mention the call center is a joke. If my family dr. thinks I need to be seen asap they said the soonest I can get in is in 3.5 weeks. Looking for a new GI dr.

I was quite offended with the way he spoke to my husband and me today after a procedure. He was flip, judgmental, non-empathetic, has not walked a mile in my husband's shoes and VERY arrogant. I intend to let him know in person at the follow-up appointment. Thinks he is a gift walking. Definitely would no recommend.

Kind and professional. Listens, answers questions and follows up to make sure everything is as it should be.

My daughter went because of chronic abdominal pain. After routine upper GI and Colonoscopy he said he didn't find anything and that lots of people have stomach pain.... The End Very disappointing

Dr. Kaylor is personable, listens well and did not rush his appointment with me. He spent time explaining diagnoses and treatment plan. Highly recommended!
