Dr. Terry Steve Mccuiston, MD

This man is a terrible person. Expect less than zero help or compassion or an exam for that matter. Presented with existing hernia that is actively rupturing due to coughing due to flu. He never listened to my lungs offered cough medicine to curb cough to stop the excruciating pain form the hernia poking out, which causes instant nausea as well. Do not see this man at mcch ER. Better off driving to Paducah honestly terrible man terrible bedside. Awful

I remember when Dr Mccuiston was basically just starting as a ER Doctor. He was a very capable Doctor but felt he did not understand lower back pain but was just being overly cautious administering pain medication. Now some thirty years later I had cause to visit MCCH ER courtesy of Murray's great ambulance service. Dr Mccuiston quickly ran appropriate test resulting with rather curious but serious findings. He came into my room to relay and discuss findings and options. He quickly arranged to have the ambulance transport me to Nashville VA where I was admitted and evaluated by VA/Vanderbilt Physicians for 4 days. Not long after I returned home I was involved in a very serious fall that resulted in my left shoulder being completely destroyed. Ultimately this was gonna take over two years and at least four major surgeries. All that being said Dr Mccuiston made sure both recent times the amount of pain medication was enough to be effective. Additionally he took the time to come to my… room and spent considerable time observing my reaction and condition while awaiting my transport. I cannot be more proud or honored to watch his career mature and I feel he has become a Doctor that others should aspire. He is now as I told a Great Doctor.

Went to ER for broken wrist. Never saw a doctor. NP called specialist who was sent xrays, a splint put on by a tech and was sent home for surgery to set the wrist in surgury after a few days. This ER doctor who never walked in the room billed a couple of thousand to my HMO. He didn't honor the contract with my HMO and sent a collection agency after me for the excess billing.

Dr. McCuiston is an incredible doctor and I know that if he is my doctor, he'll be great. Entirely deserves the praise that he gets. Love him!

If you end up in the emergency room, make sure you ask who the physician is, and if it is Dr. McCuiston, leave or ask to see another doctor. Additionally, dealing with the billing office of the Racer Emergency Physicians will be a nightmare. Don'

My husband came to the er by ambulance with chainsaw injury to his leg. They called ahead and told them we need a surgeon. All this man did was ask my husband a few questions and talked to the emts . The charged my insurance $1037.00. My insurance only paid $112.45. Now this person expects us to pay the rest. And don't waste time calling after being on hold you get hung up on!!!!!!

This is the type of person that should not be a doctor. I pray that the devil eats his soul slowly!!!!!!

Dr. Mccuistons diagnosis and bed side manner are poor at best.

This doctor does not care about the quality of health care he gives unless you have insurance! He is money hungry if you ask me and If my kids or I have to go to the emergency room I ask who the doctor is and if its him, we expect the worse treatment possible. Thanks for nothing Doc!
