Dr. Terry Lee Mcmillan, MD

Dr. McMillan was fantastic. He was very comforting and detailed when going over my medical records. I expressed my frustration when all of my lab results came back normal, and he went out of his way to diagnose the issue instead of giving me a dose of pain medication and sending me on my way (as many have done in the past). Thanks to his hard work, patience, and willingness to contact a specialist, I was given proper testing and treated accordingly. I really cannot say how grateful I am to have had him in my corner when I was sitting in the ED, in terrible pain, by myself. Fantastic doctor.

My son was in the ER for a very high fever. Dr. Mcmillian was friendly and really was concerned for my son. He took extra steps to ensure that my son was comfortable and that I had the information for future care. I would definitely recommend him.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. McMillan a few months ago in the ER. I thought he had a great bedside manner and he took time to explain possible treatment options. The ER was having a slow night so my wait time was short. He even called me at home the next day to see how I was doing. Highly recommended. Love the staff at Waukesha.

Having Dr.McMillan recently as my emergency medicine physician was an absolutely horrible experience. Not only was his bedside manner poor at best, but he seemed to lack a basic knowledge base to diganose my problem. This seemed espeicially true with regard to medication therapy. I am on several chronic medications--none of which he knew--and then of course did not know how they would interact with the new medications he sent me home with. He seemed distracted at times as though he were not even listening to me. If I have to see him again I will not be returning to the Waukesha ER!
