Dr. Terry John Wagner, DO

Have been a patient of Dr..Wagner for over 20 years. He stays very current in his knowledge of medicine. A few years ago he discovered an enlarged thyroid gland of mine on physical examination despite no symptoms. He refers patients to excellent specialists. He listens very well and is a compassionate gentleman.

I have been seeing Dr Wagner for 20+ years. He has seen me thru some rough times in my life and responded with the kindest of treatment...A great Dr. and a very empathetic friend. He gets it!

Dr Wagner was named the family physician in the STATE OF OHIO recently, the BEST out of all family doctors in the state!! Couldn't go to a better doctor. I always knew I had the best, now I have the proof!!! CONGRATULATIONS DR WAGNER!!! You are truly the best of the best....I am SO lucky to be your patient!!

Dr Wagner has been my doctor since I was born. He is a very smart, skilled doctor and never steers me wrong. Would recommend for anyone.

I have seen many doctors in the past, but none compare to Dr Wagner. He is the best by far, no comparison. Compassionate, accurate, kind. Makes you feel like you are the only person in the world when you are with him. Always goes above and beyond. There is no comparison. Consider yourself lucky if you are one of 'his' patients, as he doesn't accept new patients any longer. Having Dr Terry is like winning the lottery!!

I've had so many health problems and been to so many different specialists that I've grown to dislike and distrust most doctors. But Dr. Wagner is different, he genuinely cares, takes his time, and does not give up until he gets to the bottom of something. And most importantly, he believes in his patients. If I've Googled some new treatment he doesn't roll his eyes like most doctors, he is genuinely interested in what I've learned and how it's helping me, even alternative treatments that seem crazy to my friends! I'm lucky to have been his patient for 20 years and hope I never have to do without him.

I have gone to Dr. Wagner for many years, I've have seen him grow as a Dr. and person. For years he was very empathetic, took time and listened. I was extremely happy with him. Then the medical field was changing and putting "cuffs" on the drs. and I watched him get more serious, less time. You can't ask about anything different than what you are in there for, but it didn't used to be that way. The office staff has never been very pleasant, but better than before. The woman who schedules made a mistake with my apt and made me pay for her mistake, I refused to pay for months, the Dr. wagner dropped me. They said they have been dropping many patients who have gone to him for many many years due to late payments. By the way.....I have very good insurance so I didn't only owed $60.00. (which in my eyes, I didn't owe). I wish Dr. Wagner well and I will miss him dearly, He has helped me so much through the years.

We have been with him since he was a resident at Akron General. I think we were his first patients when he went into private practice
