Dr. Winegar was my wife's doctor for about three years before we left California. She has always had a bad back and he just told her it was arthritis and kept her on opiods... When we got to NM and she got a new doctor he told her that her back was about to collapse.. They did surgery the very next week it was so bad.. When we finally got our medical records from him it even stated in her record that she had a severally bad back.. Don't trust him at all..

Myself and my family have had Dr. Winegar as our primary physician for almost 30 years. He is very straightforward and thorough. I love the feel of his practice and his care.

I would never recommend Dr. Winegar. He does not care about or listen to his patients. All he does is take you off of your medications without any alternative or care. I had to see a different doctor for a knee injury that he said could not be fixed. His office is a stuffy old house he "converted" to an office. The only reason I went there was it's location to my house. What finally drove me away was when he expressed his racist views to me. He is horrible. If I could leave no stars, I would.

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Winegar his staff are very friendly and make feel very at ease. My experience has been rewarding and with positive results .

Dr Winegar is by far one of the best doctors I have known for the past 25 yrs The staff are absolutely dedicated to the patients needs. Great family practice

This doctore is horrible. He mis-diagnosed my elderly mother who has cancer in her stomach. This doctor has been seeing her for years, but when he operated on her, he actually forgot to see the cancer mass in her stomach? My GOD! He tells us, "she will just have to live with the stomach pains"Are you serious? We found out from another doctor that she has had cancer inside her for the past 5+ years, and Dr. Winegar didnt see that?Dont waste your time, money and send your loved ones to this yo-yo. There are more competent doctors in San Diego county, He is an idiot.
