Dr. Tessey Chinna Jose, MD

I am writing in on behalf of my sister regarding her visit with Jose Tessey at the Weston Cleveland Clinic location earlier today. I believe that this doctor is a danger to patients in her dismissal of symptoms and their questions. If you look at the reviews in any of her profiles outside of the cleveland clinic website you will see that my sister is not alone. My sister went to this clinic for PCOS treatment. This was one of the worst experiences she has ever had with a doctor. If you are overweight in any way she will dismiss any other concerns you have. Even with ultrasound results of cysts, missing period for months on end and insulant resistance, this doctor continuously dismissed all of her concerns and questions. She spent the first half of the appointment arguing that my sister did not have PCOS and only acknowledged it after my sister implored her to look at the charts. She even had the gall to say there was no way to treat PCOS which is objectively untrue. The worst part… is after having acknowledged the PCOS, she still did not prescribe anything for this diagnosis specifically, just for the weight gain. She even admitted that the medication would most likely be out of network because it was not prescribed for PCOS only for weight loss. (Which by the way are shots that cost over $1,000 out of network) Every time my sister had any questions regarding her symptoms, this doctor would roll her eyes, sigh and seem incredibly frustrated at having to do her job. She also gave very vague answers and also asked the same questions several times, clearly not listening to anything that my sister, her patient, was saying. I find this to be incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. This doctor either needs to be removed from the clinic or given retraining on her medical degree and patient care.

She's another worthless endocrinologist who thinks the only valid test for hypothyroidsm is TSH. My TSH was almost zero and still gaining weight, feeling ALL the bad symptoms of hypothyroidism but she still thought I was "hyper". My FT3 was SUPER low, my RT3 SUPER HIGH which obviously proves a conversion problem of T4 to T3. Fortunately I found a gynecologist expert in hormones and gave me NDT and just in TWO days I felt the difference: more mental clarity, more energy, sleeping better and after 3 weeks on NDT, I finally started losing weight (without changing any eating habits), and no more dry skin, no more coarse hair, no more hypothyroidism symptoms. She is worthless, and every doctor who says the only valid test is TSH, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Dr. Jose is very knowledgeable, up-to-date and shares new treatment trends and diabetes research news with me. She listens to my concerns and knows exactly what to do. So far she is the best endocrinologist I've seen since I was diagnosed with diabetes 12 years ago.
