Dr. Tetsuro Maeda, MD

Dr. Tetsuro Maeda specializes in pulmonology, critical care medicine, and internal medicine, bringing 12 years of experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Kyoto University Faculty of Medicine, where he developed expertise in treating complex respiratory and critical care conditions. His training has prepared him to care for patients with both routine and challenging lung disorders.

Dr. Maeda practices at multiple locations throughout Birmingham, Alabama, including UAB Hospital Birmingham and UAB St. Vincents Birmingham. He also sees patients at Russell Medical Center Pulmonology in Alexander City. His clinical focus includes treating patients with COPD, chronic lung disease, and COPD with other health conditions.
