Dr. Dean's care helped me avoid shoulder surgery. To date my pain is still very moderate and my range of motion very good. My visit was 4 years ago. Thankful that I was referred to him and all that he did in my behalf. Deborah

Dr. Dean has done bilateral knee and now hip replacement for my husband. I don't know who some of these reviewers saw, but Dr. Dean is an excellent surgeon and personable, professional to the highest levels, doctor. We would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing pain. We have the highest regard for his nurse as well. Very informative with quick response!

Wife had severe knee pain for a while. She was referred to Dr Dean. After two MRIs, he told us she tore her meniscus and needed surgery. He performed the surgery. After a month, the pain was still there, he gave a few off the wall suggestions but seemed to push her out the door. We finally went to our family doctor, got a new MRI, there’s more damage, did he miss it, did he ignore it, did he cause it with lackadaisical aftercare? We’re going to another orthopedic doctor to try to get her knee issues resolved.

I was referred to Dr. Dean after having a horrible experience with my first doctor. I was excited about a young orthopedic surgeon that seemed ambitious in his practice. Everything was going great until his Nurse/Scheduling Nurse got involved. She was impossible to get ahold of! They were supposed to schedule a procedure and that did not happen for almost 2 Weeks. I left 3 voicemails and never got one call returned until almost 2 weeks later. His nurse claimed there was something wrong with their “system” so she couldn’t receive voicemails. IF YOU WORK IN A DOCTORS OFFICE AND CANNOT ACCESS VOICEMAILS THAT IS A HUGE PROBLEM! I hate leaving this bad review for Dr. Dean but due to his staff I cannot ever recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.
