Dr. Thaddaeus Main Poe, MD

I have been going to Molly Spearing who works under Dr Poe for over 15 years. Since they have moved the level of service has diminished tremendously. Last fall I was really sick. I went to the immediate care but had only been sick for 3 days so the dr. said there was nothing she could do unless I had been sick at least 7 days. So at 7 days I went in and saw the male dr. in the immediate care...he treated me like I was stupid because I wasn't using allegra and an inhaler. He gave me a zpac I believe and something else. I took the meds until they were gone and was still not better, the sinus blockage was so bad that when I drank coffee I could feel it backing up into my ear canal...I went back in and saw yet another immed. care dr. She treated me like I was some druggy or something. Telling me that if what I had been given didn't take care of it I would just have to wait it out or if I really felt I needed something I would have to schedule with Molly. I was sick for two… months. I went in for bloodwork, I get the same bloodwork every 6 months at this office...they call everyone back that was there before me, which is fine, then they called two people that came in for lab work after I had already been there waiting for 30 minutes. I went to the desk and asked what was going on, she said she would check. She came back and said, well there was a question about the bloodwork...this happened the last two times I was there for lab. This last time about 5 or so weeks ago. I go in for my appt. with Molly. I have to take about two hours off work because I work on the north side but live on the west side. They tell me my appt time isn't for another hour. When I made the appt over the phone I repeated it twice so that I got it right...I wasn't happy but I had no choice but to wait. So I have been there an hour and they come over and tell me it will be at least another half hour before they can get to me. I was extremely upset. My time is valuable to. I let them know I was upset. I walked out but went back in and wrote a letter to Molly, assuming she would call me to discuss things. Instead, she sends me a letter saying since I wasn't happy with their services, I need to find another dr. Then they block you from going to any other American Health Network facility. So because they messed up and treated me badly on more than one occasion and I got upset, they tell me to go elsewhere after 15 or 20 years? Really? I don't recommend this office to anyone. Patients are not their top priority anymore. Volume is. And they don't have the time to call a long term patient to see what the issue is, how it can be worked out they just say, see ya, we don't need you as a patient.

Have been with Dr Poe for close to 40 years - he's always caring and does the best he can getting to the problem, such as referring tests, specialists and follow up care.
