Dr. Thanaa Al-Hamad, MD

I have seen this doctor for routine things in the past. When a serious problem came up, my family agreed we should get another opinion with U of M - well they told me she was doing everything exactly as they would and they said I was in good hands. Currently she is my attending specialist and I couldn't be happier, she is a skilled physician who definitely knows her specialty inside and out.

She was given to me through Beaumont when i was hospitalized. She refused to provide more information for me to get for my short term disability approved. And I'm not someone who was looking to get more time off, never ever had to be off work before EVER. I was really sick. She couldnt even remember what I had going on when hospitalized, like which side of my abdomen had been hurting for the past six months. And just today I got a random script in the mail to get another urine test because the last one was abnormal. I had the last urine test FIVE weeks ago and NOBODY from that office ever called me! So I've had a bladder infection for over a month and didn't know it. Maybe she could slow down the office volume and take enough time to read patient charts better when there for followups instead of plowing through and not even knowing what's been going on with a patient. And let's not forget her handwriting is SO bad that lab people have to always call to find out what lab work… she wrote because it is illegible! Ridiculous!!!!
