Dr. Thanh V Lam

Dr. Thanh \"Ting\" Lam
Dr. Thanh \"Ting\" Lam grew up in Montgomery County. He attended Albert Einstein High School in Kensington. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Johns Hopkins University and a M.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a research scientist at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine and has been published in several research articles in addition to presenting research on the national level. He received his Dental Degree from the University of Maryland and was honored as one of the top graduates in his class with election to the three honor societies as well as receiving the Academy of General Dentistry Award for excellence in general and comprehensive dentistry. His education and training is unique in understanding the many materials and procedures used today in the leading edge of dentistry.
In his free time at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Dr. Lam was elected …the President of his class as well as the President of the School of Dentistry. He was a member of the Recruitment and Admissions Committee of the Dental School. Dr. Lam has shown leadership on the National level as well; he was the Chair of the Continuing Education Committee for the American Student Dental Association.
Dr. Lam is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the Maryland State Dental Association.
