Dr. Thania Valledor Quesada, MD

This Dr needs to learn more about people and take time to find out more not diagnose without any hard evidence. Patients are scheduled for an appointment for a reason. I love how you gave me anit-depressants within minutes, without a thorough history and did not even check anything, By the way I know the difference between what I feel and what I only think. I also thought when you told me to get out of the room, because it was needed for other patients and to go wait in the waiting room was rude. I have never been treated this bad by a doctor.

If you want substandard, factory style “care” for your health, then you’ve found it!

I did not like this woman. She seems very fake.

Treats patients like she's superior. Talks over you. Isn't up to date work the latest meds and therapy. Cold and rude. Not where you want to be when depressed. Beware! Look her up.

Not recommended! Beware.

Dr. Quesada is a warm, kind, compassionate psychiatrist. She has been treating me for many years now. She always listens to what I have to say . Without her expertise, I really do not know where I would be now. And no this is NOT a fake review.

Not a real MD, under investigation

Beware! This woman is a danger to her patients. After a quick diagnosis in less than an hour, she put my “case” on automatic pilot. I say “case” because she doesn’t treat the patient, she treats the chart. She dismisses side effects and patient concerns and stands by her initial impression she documented in her chart—no matter what. My only meds adjustment was to up the dosages of meds that were worsening my condition.

Every time I mentioned being possibly Bipolar she never took me seriously. I expressed to her about having some type of psychosis and she responded... "wow that's crazy, that's like something out of a movie...Never heard of that before.." What kind of psychiatrist says that to a patient suffering?! I started to think I was lying and that made me go into an even deeper depression...Because of her constant upping my antidepressants I was in a constant mixed bipolar episode... and rapidly cycling. (not being properly medicated) I kept going in between doctors and everyone else I went to told me I was Bipolar, but I didn't want to believe them.. (I have problems I'm aware) so I always found myself back in her chair to for her to tell me nothing was wrong with me. I didn't want anything to be wrong with me, but in result of this I realized.. yea there is something definitely wrong.. but it can be managed. Recently found a new doctor and was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder... AGAIN. This… time I'm leaving for good. I'm finally on the right meds and starting to get my life back together after years of suffering and hurting so much.. 8 years of being suicidal up and downs, hospitalizations, rehabs, dropping out of school, etc.. On the positive side she was always kind to me, and I found her sweet. I felt like she did care for me.. just very dismissive and very knowledgeable about mental health (yikes). But truly could have died in her care. Find another doctor is my advice. I never write negative reviews and always want to find the best in people, but this is something to take very seriously. Good luck to those suffering, you're not alone and we can all get through this. Just find another doctor... xo

I was impressed when I first met Dr. Quesada. That impression has grown stronger as I got to know her better and benefitted from the treatment she provided. She cares! ??
