Dr. Thazin Saw, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Saw for probably more than 20 years. She is amazing and truly cares for patients. Th process of writing referrals is so the patient can see the specialist to beat diagnose their issue and more importantly, if she could diagnose, the policy of the medical practice will not allow it. Everything’s tracked by computers now and at the end of the day, she has to cover herself. But, she is good and she really cares about her patients.

She really listens to what you say and is thorough. This is the first doctor I didn’t mind seeing on a regular basis.

I have been a patient of dr.saw when she was with long island college she always been a great doctor also a great person she takes her time with you she makes sure you understand what she is saying I love Dr saw she is the best Dr I ever had Godbless you Dr saw keep doing what you do best??

She does not take the time nor make the effort to figure out an accurate diagnosis. She just keeps making referrals and in the meantime the patient could die as almost happened in one patient's case. The patient was begging her for help and she said I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong. The patient's husband took her to the ER where they diagnosed her with Septicimia, a very dangerous condition that can lead to death. Most medical students know it when they see it. Stay away from her. All she cares about is getting patients in and out so she can keep her "productivity" numbers up. Her "sweetness" is a cover. Disgusting.

Her office is a toll booth where the patient stops for a moment and she provides a referral or prescription. You waited a long time for the appointment and this what you get. She misses serious problems causing bad outcomes for the patient. Her referrals are mixed with some very bad ones in my opinion. She doesn’t seem to take responsibility and has joined the cynics in the medical profession. When she was at LICH she was Ok but not now.

She is a very caring doctor and she takes the time out that is needed for each patient to make sure that they received the best care. My husband, my sister, a number of our friends and workmates go to her.

You may have to wait for a little to see her, but she is a great doctor. She just wants to assure that she takes enough time with you and that you get the best care possible.

You can't get an appointment to see her for months, there are no sick visits you have to go to urgent care if you need help. You have to wait on your appointment day 2 hrs or more to see her then she hurries you through the whole visit. She doesn't follow up w the patient and you could never get to speak with her. I'm in the process of finding a new primary care doctor. It's been months since I've seen her and I have medical problems which are getting worst and can't see her. I have called so much that I'm stressed all my other specialist require a referral and I can't get one to see them, therefore one of my specialist who does call to see how I'm doing just gave me some inf. on a new primary care doctor because not even his office can get a hold of her. It's horrible and I feel so sick. I don't even know how my sugar is. she doesn't care about her patients as she did when she worked at LICH.

Dr. Saw is caring, efficient and very competent. She is organized and has an excellent memory. Her referrals are to top specialists. She currently practices at LICH where the waiting time and quality of support could be better. However, I believe she is moving to another group.

Smart, caring, excellent communicator. Knows her stuff and gives great referrals. I've never had a better doctor. Waiting time is often long but getting better.
